Management & Governance

Vista Nova is a Public School for children with special needs, or for children who present with barriers to learning. Our Governing Body, consisting of seventeen members, includes representatives of the professional and support staff, parents, RCL learners, and various organisations. The Governing Body governs the school, being responsible for things such as finance, buildings and grounds and the governance of general school matters.

The school is managed by the Principal, who is assisted by senior staff. This team is responsible for the actual running of the school and the leading and control of the professional and support staff. The Principal is ultimately responsible to, and represents, the Head of Education in the Western Cape.
